Patrick Morales (he/him)
is Rise Arizona’s Deputy State Director. Patrick’s journey began as a student intern, where he learned his skills in mobilizing college and university students through the Arizona Students’ Association. His dedication and leadership led him to the role of Statewide Organizing Director, a testament to his growth and commitment.
Patrick’s start in political campaign management was marked by various roles, from field director to digital advertiser and campaign manager. His experience crossed various types of political campaigns, from grassroots races at the local level to federal elections, including city, legislative, statewide, congressional, and even presidential campaigns.
Throughout his career, Patrick has been dedicated to higher education equity, strong schools, and advocating for issues like immigrant rights, education equity from pre-K to graduate level, and economic justice.
He grew up in a single-parent home benefiting from HUD housing grants that helped set the stage for why economic justice and education matter to him. His mother and grandmother were both teachers and have profoundly influenced his values and dedication to his work. Patrick studied Political Science at Arizona State University and is married to Stephanie, with whom he has two daughters. As a dog person, he has named his pets after singers such as Otis Redding and Michael Jackson.
