Jackson Moffett (he/him)

is currently the Pennsylvania Deputy State Director at RISE. Before his current role, Jackson served as a field director for the PA Democratic Party for the 2023 elections, worked on a Philadelphia Mayoral Primary, and with the PA Democratic Coordinated campaign in 2022.

Jackson Graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Reporting. While at the University of Vermont, Jackson was a member of the Community News Service, which focused on reporting local news to underserved communities that otherwise lacked local news coverage. Jackson worked as a member of the team, interviewing local officials and editing stories, including ones focusing on microplastic and PFAs in the local water supply of Winooski and Burlington. Jackson also worked with Representative Dave Yacovone, working as a legislative page and assistant serving Morrisville and its surrounding communities remotely as COVID-19 swept the nation.

Jackson comes from an organizing background, with his parents organizing across central Florida for national and local candidates. This experience and background drive his organizing philosophy, and his parents’ passion for organizing informs his work ethic. At his core, he believes in creating an egalitarian and environmentally conscious world with high levels of civic participation and a highly informed citizenry.
