Aunna Dennis (she/her)
is the Rise Georgia State Director and a Georgia Peach. She brings expertise in election mobilization, issue advocacy, and community engagement to Rise. She has focused on organizing social justice mobilization programs in key states and assisted the national programs to ensure equal access to the voting booth and coordinating community engagement platforms.
When Aunna is not in the office, you can find her globe-trotting, exploring intersectional dialogues, listening to music, gardening, or nature walking with her daughter. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and received her B.A. in Political Science from Hollins University.
