Washington, DC— Today, a coalition of 65 colleges, student groups, civil rights and higher education organizations delivered a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer urging Congress to pass America’s College Promise through budget reconciliation. The coalition includes the nation’s largest community college districts, and was organized by Rise, a leading advocate of President Biden’s America’s College Promise proposal.
