We're building a powerful network of leaders (ages 18–28) who will learn to combine authentic storytelling with strategic digital content to advance progressive values. Through our fellowship, on-the-ground organizers will develop the skills to amplify their work online, challenge misinformation in their communities, and drive meaningful change through digital platforms and their existing grassroots networks.

 

Who We're Looking For:

Rise 25 seeks on-the-ground organizers who lead grassroots organizations or have experience mobilizing young voters in their communities. We plan to continue and expand this work into 2026 and 2028. Our fellowship is designed for community leaders already doing impactful in-person organizing who want to build or strengthen their digital presence to amplify their work. We prioritize applicants with proven track records of local action who need support, tools, and resources to expand their reach online and scale their organization's digital footprint.

 

This fellowship is specifically for young leaders doing the hard work of community organizing who are ready to leverage digital platforms and strategies to increase their impact without sacrificing their authentic connection to the communities they serve.

 

What We Offer:

Fellows receive comprehensive training and resources to amplify their digital advocacy while staying true to their authentic voice. The fellowship provides a personal stipend to support participants' engagement and dedicated funding specifically for growing their digital content footprint and expanding their online presence. Over the course of the two-year fellowship, Rise will invest over $115,000 in each Rise 25 Fellow, supporting leaders with fellow stipends, paid media, training and development, and tools and resources.

 

Through access to our National Organizing Fund, fellows transform online influence into tangible impact, supporting grassroots initiatives that matter to their communities. Participants also join a powerful network of like-minded changemakers and established progressive leaders who provide mentorship and collaboration opportunities.

 

This robust support system ensures fellows can enhance their personal advocacy and community organizing without compromising their authenticity or community ties.

 

Fellowship Commitment:

 

Rise 25 Fellowship Timeline (Year 1 - Media Focus):

• Approximate start date: Monday, July 7, 2025
• Approximate end date: Friday, December 12, 2025

 

Rise 25 Fellowship Expectations (Year 1 - Media Focus):

• 5 hours/month of individual and group coaching and community building
• 8 hours/month of training & development focused on social media and narrative storytelling 
• 15-20 hours/month of content development and production
• 8-10 pieces of content/month

 

Rise 25 Fellowship Timeline (Year 2 - Media + GOTV Organizing):

• Approximate start date: Monday, January 19, 2026
• Approximate end date: Friday, December 11, 2026 

 

Rise 25 Fellowship Expectations (Year 2 - Media + GOTV Organizing):

• 5 hours/month of individual and group coaching and community building
• 8 hours/month of training & development focused on GOTV organizing tools and resources
• 15-20 hours/month of content development and production
• 8-10 pieces of content/month
• Recruit 160 young people to attend Rise University online
• Mobilize 80,000 young voters on the ground and online utilizing Rise-provided GOTV technology and resources
