Chris Solomon (he/him)
is the Nevada State Director of Rise Free, a dedicated community activist, political operative, and public servant with a strong commitment to addressing critical issues such as education, food insecurity, and labor rights.
Chris, a proud member of Gen-Z, embarked on his community organizing journey in 2021 with the USS Windrunner, a Star Trek Fan Club, and the Las Vegas Chapter of ‘Star Trek–The Fleet,’ where he holds the role of Executive Officer and Vice President. His experience in leading a fandom organization that prioritizes community service instilled a passion for community engagement that continues to shape his path.
Chris’s ability to foster positive change extends to his other current roles. He presently serves on the Board of Directors for three Democratic Party-affiliated clubs and caucuses in Clark County: the Stonewall Democrats of Clark County, the Red Rock Democratic Club, and the Black Democratic Empowerment Project, all of which he assumed in the spring of 2023.
In his most recent role as Party Affairs Coordinator for the Clark County Democratic Party, Chris played a critical role in developing political strategies for internal infrastructure development and progressive statewide issue advocacy campaigns.
Driven by “Progress and Purpose,” Chris brings a wealth of experience to his position as Nevada State Director of Rise Free. His enthusiasm for building extensive community coalitions and strengthening partnerships with key constituency leaders and organizations reflects his dedication to mobilizing Nevada toward a brighter future.
