Hiring Manager Job Title: Rise Nevada, State Director
Classification: Manager, with multiple Direct Reports
Employment Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Exempt, Regular

Telecommute Agreement: Hybrid; Travel May Be Required
Salary: The Deputy Organizing Director position has a full salary range of $45,000 - $65,000. However, aligned with our DEI practices, we typically bring in candidates between the minimum and maximum of $48,000 - $53,000. This does not include additional benefits offered to full-time employees, such as paid time off, sick leave, and health insurance.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the State Organizing Director, the Deputy Organizing Director will be primarily responsible for managing their state’s Organizing Program, providing support on the ground, and leading campus and community engagement. Candidates should be able to offer ingenuity, creativity, nimbleness, and enthusiasm, with the desire to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, growing organizing program.
In general, ~80% of the Deputy Director’s time should be spent in the field training and organizing with LCOs, Field Organizers, and Volunteers to reach organizing goals. The remaining 20% of the Deputy Director’s time should be spent building relationships with campus leadership, working with LCOs to develop content for Rise socials, and representing Rise in the media. Hiring Manager Job Title: Deputy State Director

Salary: The LCO position has a monthly salary of $4,000. This salary is *non-negotiable* to prevent internal inequity.
Position Summary:
The Lead Campus Organizer (LCO) will be primarily responsible for the recruitment and management of Field Organizers and Volunteers, campus community engagement, and Rise event planning. Candidates should be able to offer ingenuity, creativity, nimbleness, and enthusiasm, with the desire to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, growing organizing program.
In general, the position entails leading organizing and outreach efforts on campus (tabling, canvassing, text banking, attending/hosting events, etc.), creating weekly plans, recruiting and activating student volunteers, recruiting and managing a team of Field Organizers, developing partnerships with campus organizations, and incorporating creative ideas into your organizing work, including mandatory social media content creation and engagement to uplift Rise’s work on the ground. Hiring Manager Job Title: Lead Campus Organizer
Employment Status: Independent Contractor (Part-Time Contract)
Contract Period: 6/3/24 - 8/9/24, with opportunity for extension

Salary: The Field Organizer position hourly rate ranges between $20/hour - $21/hour
Position Summary:
Field Organizers will be primarily responsible for nuts & bolts organizing, recruitment of Rise Supporters and Volunteers, and community (1:1) engagement. Candidates should be able to offer ingenuity, creativity, nimbleness, and enthusiasm, with the desire to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, growing organizing program.
In general, the position entails using creative online and offline tactics to recruit attendees to our organizing events and connecting with youth in the community to make a pledge to vote, achieving personal pledge-to-vote goals, recruiting volunteers to assist in meeting expected state goals, building partnerships with student organizations on campus through events and tabling with direction from Manager, and actively participating in the creation and uplifting of content on all Rise social media platforms.
