Raisah Khan
is a Spring 2022 Rise California Fellow and a sophomore at the University of Berkeley studying Political Economy with a minor in Human Rights. Her interests include examining how economic policy can be leveraged to create improved societal conditions, volunteering at refugee or naturalization clinics to assist immigrants and refugees with economic integration, and amplifying the narratives of diverse populations in the country to create a collaborative environment. She is currently the Vice President of Events at The Berkeley Forum, where she helps host debates, panels, and talks to increase discourse on the UC Berkeley campus. In her free time, she likes to play chess, watch basketball, and write poetry.
