Neida Maldonado

is a USC Student Navigator majoring in Public Policy with an emphasis in Health Management at the University of Southern California. At USC, Neida is involved with First Generation Student Union as the Director of Communications, The Southern California Healthcare Outreach where she works with other students to expand healthcare coverage and knowledge in South Los Angeles to vulnerable and disadvantaged communities, and is a Trojan Health Volunteer where she volunteers with LA Works Wellness Check-in for Seniors in District 5 and Bread Head, a non-profit, to assist those experiencing housing and food insecurity during COVID-19. Neida aspires to work in a clinical/hospital setting where she can manage and oversee the operations and assist underserved communities facing determinants of health and health disparities.
