Kome Onoyona

is a Rise Georgia Fellow and a sophomore at Georgia Institute of Technology. Born and raised in Powder Springs, Oghenekome graduated from McEachern High School as Senior Class Vice President, and in her years there, mentored and tutored elementary school students, developing a passion for being a dedicated, hard-working, and focused-driven servant-leader to those around her. Majoring in computer science, she started her college career as the Vice President of her school’s freshman cohort for the National Society of Black Engineers. She is currently the Social Media/Marketing Coordinator of Unfading Beauties Inc., a Christian youth organization focused on empowering young women from middle school to college. Oghenekome aspires to continue serving and leading through community outreach, hoping to one day become a powerhouse in the tech world.
