is a Rise Washington Fellow and a senior at Central Washington University. She is majoring in Political science with a minor in law and justice. And works as an Emergency Relief Organizer for the United Farm Worker‚Äôs Foundation in Yakima, WA. Kenia was born in Colima, Mexico and migrated to the United states at the age of four and was raised in the Yakima Valley. Embodying a holistic approach; she is committed to providing critical services and actively involves undocumented, Latino and farm worker communities in creating systemic change. Empowering them to break cycles of poverty. She is determined to attend American University College of law to pursue International Law and be a Champaign for human rights on a global scale.
