Jalynn Eagle
is a Rise TCU Student Organizing Fellow and an enrolled member of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe. Jalynn is currently in her second year of college, majoring in Human Services with a Mental Health concentration. Jalynn will be obtaining her Associate’s degree this coming May. From personal experience as a Native American woman, Jalynn knows there is generational trauma due to the relocation acts and the boarding school era. Jalynn also knows there has to be generational wisdom as well. Jalynn was told a long time ago that when you heal yourself, you heal seven generations back and seven generations forward. That is why her future plans are to one day have my Masters in Counseling and Resource development.
