Hazel Yang

is a USC Student Navigator at Rise. Originally from China, her interest in gender and cultural equity began with an inspired heart to push for change. Particularly, she aspires to help international students in the U.S. to live a healthy and happy life. She has previously worked at Public Matters, an artist-led social enterprise for civic engagement, where she conducted nationwide research on resources for social enterprises and how philanthropy was responding to COVID-19. Currently, Hazel is a second year Master of Public Administration student at University of Southern California. In her spare time, she enjoys going to museums, traveling to new places, and cooking.
