Dianna (Dee) Carrillo
is a USC Student Navigator and is currently in her last year as a graduate student at USC’s School of Social Work with a concentration in Adult Mental Health and Wellness. Before USC Dee received her bachelors in sociology and law from Cal State LA and has worked in social services ever since. Dee has worked for the LAUSD, non-profit organizations that fight for incarcerated individuals and for LGBTQ homeless youth. Dee has also been a case manager for probationers, a therapist for low income individuals, and most recently at Patton State Hospital helping the criminally insane. Upon graduation Dee aspires to continue working with the criminally insane and advocate for mental health services throughout the criminal justice system. In her spare time Dee enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and partner, as well as traveling, hiking and eating some good food.
