Dessy Epie
is a senior at Emory University majoring in Philosophy and minoring in African Studies. Her passion for mental health advocacy in the Black community led her to become the Co-President of Emory’s Black Mental Health Ambassadors. While at Emory, Dessy has gotten involved in various ways on campus including being the Co-VP of Diversity and Equity in SGA and the social media intern in the Office for Racial and Cultural Engagement. After graduation, she hopes to take a few gap years to decide what type of graduate school would allow her to positively impact the communities that are important to her.
