is a Rise Pennsylvania Fellow and a junior at the University of Pittsburgh studying Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry and certificates in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine and Global Health. Her interests include promoting race and gender equity within healthcare access, serving as a patient advocate in larger policy platforms, and elevating the voices of others to strengthen shared decision-making in healthcare spaces. This summer, she is a Health Policy intern at the Young Women’s Christian Association of Greater Pittsburgh studying the social determinants of health disparities within minority female populations. On campus, she is on an acapella team and is a Resident Assistant for the Honors Living and Learning Community. In her free time, she enjoys songwriting, playing basketball, and trying new types of cuisine.
