Amaya Parks
is a junior sociology major with a concentration in public health at Spelman College. Throughout her college career, she has served as the Community Service Director for GRL PWR, Inc., along with participating in many other organizations on campus that have allowed her to serve her community in many capacities. As a Rise 2022 Fellow, Amaya hopes to bring creative ideas to fight for the basic needs of college students, starting within the Atlanta University Center.
