Braxton Simpson
is Rise’s North Carolina State Director and a current MBA candidate at North Carolina Central University. Braxton is a graduate of Tennessee State University with a double major in Agricultural Sciences and Political Science. Braxton is a native of Atlanta, Georgia with a strong passion for civil rights, servant leadership, HBCU Advocacy, and a plethora of other issues. Braxton has most recently served at the National Chair for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.’s 2020 HBCU Vote Initiative, collaborated with “Watch The Yard” to interview Black political figures, and launched Braxton Simpson Enterprises, LLC. Braxton finds joy in aiding others in turning their “Passion” into “Purpose”!
